  • Chassis no. 100 144735
  • Engine no. 100.000 150424

Sold for €14.000

13 hp, 633 cc four-cylinder engine, four-speed unsynchronised manual transmission, four-wheel independent suspension, and four-wheel drum brakes. Wheelbase: 2,000 mm

  • The “big” brother of the diminutive 500
  • Expertly restored and ready to be enjoyed
  • Featured in Quattroruote magazine in 2002

The 1956 Fiat 600 offered here was built just one year after the model’s introduction, making it one of the earliest examples. As such, it features such unique identifying features as turn signals mounted to the tops of the wings, a three-slat grille, and no side markers. Elegant chrome touches, like more delicate bumpers without overriders and smaller hubcaps, set it apart from later 600s.

This 600 is eligible for the Mille Miglia, and it is extraordinarily well-documented, which is no small feat for a car that was meant for urban use. Several years off of a professional rotisserie restoration, it sports a period-correct brown and blue cloth interior and is swathed in Azzuro Medio grey/blue paint. Although it shows some signs of use, this 600 is highly presentable.

The original registration documents will be included with the sale, as will a jack and a set of tools in their original Fiat roll. In addition, an Automotoclub Storico Italiano certificate of authenticity and a vaunted ASI gold plate are included.

This 600, which was featured in Italy’s Quattroruote in 2002, is surely one of the finest examples of an early variant of the Italian “people’s car”, and it is ready to be enjoyed today.

Moteur quatre-cylindres 633 cm3, 13 ch, transmission manuelle quatre rapports non synchronisés, suspension à quatre roues indépendantes, freins à tambours sur les quatre roues. Empattement : 2 000 mm.
