• Offered from the collection of William Ruger Jr.

This beautiful 1932 Lincoln KB Coupe with coachwork by Judkins was added to the Ruger Collection in 1995. It was shown that year at Pebble Beach, where it garnered a Third in Class. The colors of Birmingham Green and Jade Mist are exceptionally attractive and do a wonderful job of showing off the flowing Judkins lines. Handsome too are the painted wire wheels and Michelin blackwall tires, which focus more attention on the body lines. This KB is equipped with dual horns, fog lights, dual side-mounted spare tires with Lincoln script mirrors, and rare, smoked-glass sun visors. The interior is flawless in presentation, and the underside has been restored to show quality. The same can be said for the engine bay, which is also correctly restored and very presentable.

The previous owner stated that all pot metal components were replaced by cast brass and bronze, all the way down to the carburetors parts and steering column levers. This leaves the next owner with peace of mind knowing that the expense of replacing any of these fragile parts will be spared. In the early-2000s, the engine was thoroughly and completely overhauled by Fran Roxas, who performed various cosmetic upgrades at the same time. The drive train has been upgraded with the installation of a transmission and rear axle from 1935, which provides much taller gear ratios and better synchromesh, which allows for faster cruising with less stress on the engine. Aftermarket turn signals have been installed for safer touring. Mr. Ruger states that this is one of the best Lincoln KB’s he has ever owned and that it could cruise all day at 65–70 miles per hour. It has been maintained very thoughtfully and is still ready to show off or take on a CCCA CARavan.
